Director of Business Development, World Food Bank
Alicia Miller, a native from Dallas, TX, found her way out to Denver shortly after graduating from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Communication Studies. She immediately started her career in capital raising for a commercial real estate investment firm. Soon she was involved in the business development world via the corporate track. Along the way, she has worked for a business management consulting firm, two tech start-ups, finally making her way back to the capital raising world. She joined the World Food Bank team in April 2018. She has already seen the value of a capitalism impact structure, believing in the power to invest in things that can also change the world. "Doing well by doing good" is a motto she now leads her life by.
In her spare time, Alicia enjoys heading to the Colorado mountains for either hiking season or snowboard season. She is an avid traveler and always on the go to explore new and diverse places. She also is the lead singer in a cover band here in Denver. An extrovert by nature, Alicia is happy to connect with anyone and everyone, whenever the opportunity allows.
